PEARL JAM -
Live at Easy Street
(street: 06/
06/06)
In late April 2005, PEARL JAM played a surprise show
at Easy Street Records in West Seattle on a Friday
night in
support of the 10th anniversary of the Coalition of
Independent
Music Stores (CIMS). The result was a once in a
lifetime
performance that has been captured on an EP entitled
LIVE
FROM EASY STREET. This 7 song EP contains 3 never
before
released cover songs!
ALSO AVAILABLE: Pearl Jam’s brand
new
self-titled CD!
JOSH ROUSE - Subtitulo
Upon launching his own imprint label, JOSH ROUSE is
proud to (finally) see one of his full length albums
available on
vinyl. In an amazing gatefold packaging, the vinyl
version of
SUBTITULO comes with exclusive artwork which differs
drastically from its sister CD version. Reflecting
back on his
migration to Spain after spending many years in
Nashville, TN,
Josh bought a plane ticket and immersed himself in the
lifestyle and customs of Spanish culture. This
influence
shines throughout the upbeat (and largely romantic)
tenor of
each song.
DINOSAUR JR. - J MASCIS LIVE AT
CBGB'S: The First Acoustic Show
Release date 5/16/06. This recording is a show from
1993 at CBGB's. It will be released in
conjunction with
the Expanded and Re-masterered versions of Green
Mind and
Where You Been. This is the first ever
"unplugged"
show from Dinosaur Jr.'s J. Mascis now released in
it's entirety
for the first time.
THE BOY LEAST LIKELY TO - The Best Party Ever
THE BEST PARTY EVER, which compiles the first three
singles plus five new tracks from UK-based THE BOY
LEAST
LIKELY TO, shares that youthful, existential whimsy
found in
classics like Calvin & Hobbes. This isn't
children's
music, but it takes a child-like eye to Postcard pop
awash in
1960s California sunshine with hints of country and
soul.
Twinkling synths, handclaps, banjos, and
glockenspiel
accompany the shambling acoustic guitar on songs about
tigers, monsters, growing up, and ‘Warm Panda
Cola.” Pitchfork gives it an 8.5!
WILL HOGE - The Man Who Killed Love
WILL HOGE incorporates the best of both the singer/
songwriter genre and vintage, surging rock 'n roll.
Through sharp lyricisms and strong melodies, his
songs tell
stories that are delivered with a passion and
desperation that
demand attention. Explosive live performances,
non-stop
touring, and a commitment to songwriting have earned
Hoge
and his band a fanatical following as well as
critical acclaim.
Hoge has delivered a rock n roll album in its
truest
sense; included are such live show faves as
“Woman Be
Strong” and Hearts are Gonna Roll.”
